9.1 Please read the following carefully to understand Baby Sitting 24’ practices regarding personal data and its treatment.
9.2 Baby Sitting 24 is committed to protecting and respecting the Babysitter’s and the Employer’s privacy.
9.3 These terms and conditions set out the basis on which any personal data collected from the Babysitter, or that the Babysitter provides to Baby Sitting 24, will be processed by Baby Sitting 24.
9.4 Baby Sitting 24 may collect and process data (which includes personal data) about the Babysitter including but not limited to:
(A) information that the Babysitter provides by filling in the Application forms;
(B) If the Babysitter contacts Baby Sitting 24, Baby Sitting 24 may keep a record of that correspondence or notes of any telephone conversations; and
(C) Baby Sitting 24 may also ask the Babysitter to complete surveys that Baby Sitting 24 uses for research purposes;
9.5 The data that Baby Sitting 24 collects from the Babysitter may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for Baby Sitting 24 or for one of Baby Sitting 24’ suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the fulfillment of the Babysitter’s Agreement and the provision of support services. By submitting the Babysitter’s personal data, the Babysitter agrees to this transfer, storing or processing.
9.6 The transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Baby Sitting 24 will use reasonable endeavours to protect the Babysitter’s personal data, but do not guarantee the security of data transmitted to the Website. Any transmission of such data is at the Babysitter’s own risk. Once Baby Sitting 24 has received the Babysitter’s information, they will use strict procedures and security features to attempt to prevent unauthorised access.
9.7 Baby Sitting 24 uses information held about the Babysitter in the following ways (including but not limited to):
(A) ensure that content from the Website is presented in the most effective manner; and
(B) provide the Babysitter with information, products or services that the Babysitter requests from Baby Sitting 24 or which Baby Sitting 24 feels may interest the Babysitter, where the Babysitter has consented to be contacted.
9.8 Baby Sitting 24 may disclose the Babysitter’s personal information to third parties (including but not limited to):
(A) in the event that Baby Sitting 24 sells or buys any business or assets, in which case Baby Sitting 24 may disclose the Babysitter’s personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets;
(B) if Baby Sitting 24 or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its Babysitters will be one of the transferred assets;
(C) if Baby Sitting 24 is under a duty to disclose or share Baby Sitting 24 personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply these terms and conditions and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Baby Sitting 24, their Babysitters, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
9.9 Baby Sitting 24 will provide the Employer with information about the Babysitter including but not limited to the name, sex, age, relevant experience and contact telephone number of the Babysitter and any other information relevant to the provision of Childcare Services which may be undertaken or which has been undertaken.
9.10 The Website may, from time to time, contain links to and from the Websites of Baby Sitting 24’ partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If the Babysitter follows a link to any of these websites, the Babysitter should note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that Baby Sitting 24 does not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. The Babysitter should check these policies before submitting any personal data to these websites.
9.11 Any changes Baby Sitting 24 may make to the privacy policy in the future will be posted on the Website.
