5.1 The Babysitter should not engage in any conduct which is detrimental to the interests of Baby Sitting 24, would negatively affect Baby Sitting 24’ relationship with the Employer or is likely to bring Baby Sitting 24 into disrepute.
5.2 The Babysitter shall, before the commencement of the Childcare Services, have provided Baby Sitting 24 with satisfactory evidence of their identity, which shall include, but not be limited to, a certified copy of the Babysitter’s passport and one proof of address.
5.3 The Babysitter confirms that they are legally allowed to work in the United Kingdom and shall show Baby Sitting 24 documentary evidence as proof thereto.
5.4 The Babysitter shall provide Baby Sitting 24 with the names of two references who the Babysitter agrees that Baby Sitting 24 may approach at any time for the purpose of obtaining references about the Babysitter.
(A) The Babysitter will agree to provide Childcare Services to Baby Sitting 24 at pursuant to the payments terms in Schedule 1 of these terms and conditions.
5.5 The Babysitter will accept the Childcare Fee in cash or cheque from the Employer at the end of each booking.
5.6 Any change to the information contained within the Application Form will require the Babysitter to resubmit the amended Application Form that will also be subject to acceptance pursuant to Condition 3.2.
5.7 If, in respect of any prospective Bookings, the Babysitter is required by law, any professional body or by the Employer to hold or have any experience, training qualifications and/or authorisations, the Babysitter shall provide Baby Sitting 24 with current and valid copies of such qualifications and/or authorisations.
5.8 The Babysitter consents to the disclosure of all relevant information (which is required to progress any application or which is requested by the Employer) including but not limited to copies of qualifications, authorisations and/or references, by Baby Sitting 24 to the Employer.
5.9 The Babysitter shall immediately inform Baby Sitting 24 should there be any reason or circumstance under which it would be detrimental to the interests of Baby Sitting 24, the Employer or the Babysitter for the Babysitter to take up a particular position with a Employer or to continue its engagement with Baby Sitting 24.
5.10 The Babysitter shall inform Baby Sitting 24 of any interviews arranged between the Employer and the Babysitter, or any informal or formal offers of employment made by the Employer to the Babysitter.
5.11 In the event that the Babysitter is unable to honour a Booking that has been agreed with a Employer the Babysitter shall notify Baby Sitting 24 as soon as practicable.
5.12 The Babysitter shall notify Baby Sitting 24 immediately if there is any reason why they are unable to continue with a Booking with the Employer.
5.13 The Babysitter is free to undertake any other engagement or employment whilst registered with Baby Sitting 24.
5.14 The Babysitter is not obligated to accept any Childcare Services or Introduction offered to him/her by Baby Sitting 24.
5.15 The Babysitter should ensure that they have their own public liability cover.
5.16 The Babysitter must confirm the booking with the Employer on the day they are booked to baby-sit.
5.17 The Babysitter must listen out for the child (children) and ensure they are in a position to hear any sounds from them.
5.18 The Babysitter must check the children regularly – particularly young babies.
5.19 The Babysitter must prepare feeds, change nappies, etc if requested by the Employer.
5.20 Babysitter must understand that He/She may not offer or accept to provide Babysitting or any childcare services to an Employer introduced through Baby Sitting 24 without Baby Sitting 24 agreement. Both the Employer and the Babysitter will be liable in damages to Baby Sitting 24 to compensate Baby Sitting 24 in respect of all past, present and future losses which Baby Sitting 24 has or might suffer by reason of any breach of the undertaking above up to a maximum of £5000. In addition the Babysitter will be struck off the Baby Sitting 24 Register and no further bookings will be arranged for him/her. The Employer will also forfeit 3 months’ membership and their membership will be cancelled.
5.21 Baby Sitting 24 will suspend offering bookings to the Babysitter if Babysitter cancels already accepted bookings on more than three occurrences in the course of any six months period.
5.22 Baby Sitting 24 reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time without notice or reason.
